Getting Started

Feel free to browse by clicking page links, starting from the home page. It should be quite self-explanatory. If you're looking for specific information, you can use the search bar on the top right, or the sidebar on the left.

Editing is quite easy: if you have the access, just hover over the pencil. “Edit this page” will show up. Click it, and you'll see the editing menu. Making text changes is as straightforward as expected. For lay-out, lists, and other tricks, read more on the Formatting Syntax page.

Adding a page can be done in multiple ways, but the following is advised:

  1. In the page you want to link from, add a link to the non-existent page as follows:
    <Page title>

    The link for the space department (RVD) page on rockets could be

    Space Department Rockets
  2. Naturally, this will lead to a page stating “This page does not exist yet”. By clicking on the pencil with “Create this page”, you can add one!
  3. Add the page's contents and press “Save”, and you're good to go!

If you want to create a new wiki “section”, like a new committee, it is useful to create a new namespace and create a start page for it. For example, to create a new section on the Activity Committee (AkCie), one could create the page

AkCie

Note the colon at the end of the link! In this way, it is easy to correctly do access control management, such that Airbase members cannot edit the AkCie page and its subpages.
