Some 'Wikipediaan' (Henri Duvent) decided that our society was irrelevant and that the page did not include enough independent sources. From further research, it was found that Henri Duvent deletes a lot of Wikipedia pages and gets some sort of kick out of doing this. He also deleted the page of Leeghwater, Technologish Gezelschap, and Vereniging voor Technische Physica. While this is disheartening, it presents us with a unique opportunity to come together and create something even better. This is not just about restoring a page; it's about showcasing the remarkable journey and impact of our society.
+To prevent it from being deleted again, we need to focus on writing it from an external perspective. Also not focussing on how we function, but more on our goals, achievements, and contributions. We should prevent it from looking like [[https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Navelstaren|'navelstaarderij']]. Otherwise it gets instantly deleted again.

+As we dove deeper into this problem and the hell-hole that is Wikipedia Moderators, we found out that there are people with very big egos and very little impact on the world. Sadly these people see themselves as saviors of Wikipedia and are allowed to delete out page. Luckely some of them are somewhat coöperative, so we got some tips for writing the new Wikipedia Entry:

+De Vliegtuigbouwkundige Studievereniging ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ (kortweg: VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’) is de vereniging van studenten Luchtvaart- en Ruimtevaarttechniek aan de Technische Universiteit Delft en is opgericht in 1945. Als Vereniging zorgt de VSV dat studenten een stem hebben in het onderwijsprogramma en doet zij aan kwaliteitszorg, door middel van onderwijscommissies. Ook verzorgt de VSV de boekenverkoop. Dit alles gebeurt onder leiding van zeven studenten die fulltime in het Bestuur van de Vereniging zitten en hun studie een jaar lang opzijzetten om zich volledig in te zetten voor de Vereniging.

+Het bestuur van de VSV bestaat uit zeven studenten, die zich een jaar lang inzetten voor de vereniging. In 2022-2023 is dit het 78e bestuur der VSV 'Leonardo da Vinci' voor het academisch jaar 2022/2023. De VSV heeft haar eigen adviesorgaan: de senaat. De senaat bestaat uit alle oud-bestuurders die nog studeren. Het bestuur houdt de senaat op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen binnen de VSV door middel van driemaandelijkse vergaderingen. Tegenwoordig heeft de VSV ongeveer 2500 leden en is daarmee de grootste vliegtuigbouwkundige studievereniging in de Benelux. De leden hebben de mogelijkheid zichzelf te ontplooien door middel van commissiewerkzaamheden. Op dit moment telt de VSV meer dan 250 actieve leden verdeeld over 27 commissies en door deze commissies worden tal van activiteiten georganiseerd waar alle leden van de VSV aan kunnen deelnemen.

+De VSV organiseert velerlei activiteiten, zoals excursies, lezingen, studiereizen, borrels en feesten. Sommige activiteiten zijn alleen toegankelijk voor VSV-leden, andere zijn open voor alle geïnteresseerden. Het grootste, jaarlijkse evenement dat wordt georganiseerd is het symposium in het Auditorium van de Technische Universiteit Delft.

+De oprichting van de vereniging vond plaats op 18 juli 1945 op Sociëteit Phoenix, de sociëteit van het Delft Studenten Corps. De vereniging werd opgericht omdat de oprichters van mening waren dat er een nieuwe studievereniging zou moeten zijn voor de vijf jaar daarvoor opgerichte studierichting van Vliegbouwkunde. Deze opleiding was een afsplitsing van Werktuigbouwkunde. De oprichting werd verricht door de heer Leyds, tevens de eerste President van de vereniging.

+De Vliegtuigbouwkundige Studievereniging ‘Leonardo da Vinci’ (kortweg: VSV ‘Leonardo da Vinci’) is de studievereniging van studenten Luchtvaart- en Ruimtevaarttechniek aan de Technische Universiteit Delft en is opgericht op 18 juli 1945. De vereniging zorgt de studenten van de faculteit een stem hebben in het onderwijsprogramma en doet zij aan kwaliteitszorg, door middel van onderwijscommissies. Daarnaast draagt de vereniging bij aan het contact tussen studenten door middel van gezelligheidsactiviteiten. Ook is de vereniging actief op het wetenschappelijke en academische front, zo organiseren ze symposia, lezingen, internationale studiereizen en brengen ze kwartaallijks het tijdschrift 'Leonardo Times' uit, waarin het laatste nieuws over lucht- en ruimtevaart, redactionele verhalen, onderzoek van de faculteit Luchtvaart- en Ruimtevaarttechniek staat.
+Tegenwoordig heeft de vereniging ongeveer 2900 leden en is daarmee de grootste vliegtuigbouwkundige studievereniging in de Benelux. De leden hebben de mogelijkheid zichzelf te ontplooien door middel van commissiewerkzaamheden.

+De VSV 'Leonardo da Vinci' kent buiten haar (studenten) leden ook ereleden, personen uit de industrie die zich verdienstelijk hebben gemaakt voor de vereniging. Zij dragen de vereniging een warm hart toe. Iedere 2.5 jaar houdt de vereniging een Buitengewone Algemene Leden Vergadering, waar nieuwe ereleden worden geïnstalleerd.
